The fascination for underground dance music first began with the emergence of The Acid House towards
the end of 1986. This brand new scene, with its revolutionary sound of synthesized Acid/Tech was the
beginning of a muse to overtake everything.
 
Some time later, after finishing studio sound production classes at S.A.E, Jewels began playing at private
parties after years of keeping an ever growing collection of vinyl, fueling a favourite past time. The
progression into the London club scene followed on from there, as invitations to play as guest DJ for
industry colleagues began coming her way. Spots included EGG with Rythmatic, WHITE ROOMS,
JAMM BAR, MINISTRY with Krakajax, IMMIGRANT RECORDS after parties at PLATINUM.
 
Her summer residency with Lickerish then made its debut at plush members only club CRESCENT.
Sirene followed straight behind, another exciting new night launching at PACHA. An all female line up
with an edge of Burlesque, featuring Jewels, Chen, Essence, Hunter, Trixy and Blush.
 
In June 2010, a move into the world of club promotion began, and along with it new group/event -
PEOPLE OF LDN UNDERGROUND. By the end of 2010, Colin Dale's WILDLIFE ARTIST
MANAGEMENT had welcomed Jewels onto its books as one of London's most exciting new school
female DJ's.

Her edgy progressions of deep acid spiked house, tech groove and nu disco have since secured regular
bookings and guest sets as well as appearances on Radio, with two shows of her own.
 
With the start of an exciting label/production project well underway, find an original sound which
resonates back to the days where it first began. Acid House may have moved on and the scene changed,
but the fascination remains the same.
