Following their hugely successful Terrace Takeover Party at Cargo, Evasive is delighted to announce their next event, which is being held to celebrate the label’s 12th Birthday. Moving things slightly westward, party shenanigans will this time be taking place at ‘Fluid’, the very cool split-level late-night bar & club situated in the heart of Clerkenwell and just a stone’s throw from Fabric. With a top notch line-up secured, the nocturnal soundtrack will be provided by the cream of Evasive’s artist roster, assisted by their friends from the highly acclaimed Cubism Records.

The DJ line-up for the night will consist of the usual suspects from the Evasive crew, plus a newcomer producer who will be making his DJ debut. Topping the bill is Evasive head honcho Rob Pearson, whose recent schedule has seen him collaborating with living legend Afrika Bambaataa, as well as remixing for various labels including Bounce House, Cubism, 3am Keep it Simple and Bombis. His right-hand woman and Area38 boss Kirsten Sees will be joining him, as will be Simon Stone (aka Iteration X) and vocalist Tempo o’ Neil. All concerned are rearing to go, having smashed Cargo’s terrace to pieces last month, while debutant Jay Dynan is excited to be doing his first official DJ gig. Mr Dynan caused waves earlier this year with the release of his highly acclaimed debut EP on Evasive Deep, and was a featured DJ on the Area38 internet radio show to coincide with the release. The station’s Shoutbox was quickly jammed with listeners wanting to know more about this talented young chap, and Evasive is really looking forward to presenting Jay to the clubbing audience.

Also on the bill are the artists and DJs from the stable of widely respected label Cubism Records, with label boss and resident DJ Mark Gwinnett (Lunacy Sound Division), plus all the other Cubism resident DJs Paul Johnson, Mike Healey (Focus Puller) and Deanoloco transporting their legendary party vibe from Maidstone. It’s safe to say that these guys know a thing or two about throwing parties, since they have been hosting extremely cool underground parties since the label first started in 2007. Last year they secured a residency at the infamous Source Bar in Maidstone, sharing the turntables at the legendary venue with some of the biggest underground DJs in the world, and they have also been rocking regular massive parties at Cargo in Shoreditch with Saytek, who is a partner in Cubism Records alongside Mark Gwinnett. Evasive is as pleased as punch to have them join and contribute to the birthday celebrations.

In addition Wiggle and Cubism artists Freaky Disco will be joining the party, pumping the PA system to full capacity with their infectious trademark grooves.

Sparks will no doubt be flying on the dance-floor with this not-to-be-missed line-up spread across 2 rooms:
