Chris Lyth has been producing electronic music for over 15 years. He co-founded UK labels Advance & Sensei, producing & remixing tracks for both labels & appearing on many compilations, most notably Sasha's Global Underground Ibiza Mix. After leaving the labels he took a bit of a break, then started producing under the name Mecanique, putting out tracks on Plastic City, Toolroom Trax, District of Corruption (Berlin) & Slave Recordings.
Jacksonville is his latest project & has been up & running for around 8 months. He currently has releases on Alex Flatner's new label - Galvanic, Evasive Records, Rebel Audio Recordings & Sushi Recordings. His well received 'Super 8 Motel EP' held the number 2 spot in the Beatport Deep House Download Chart & his 'In Too Deep EP' was featured in DJ Magazine's August Hype Chart.
DJ support has come from Josh Wink, Ashley Beedle, Darren Emerson, Ian Pooley, Sasha, Dave Mothersole, Terry Francis, Sunshine Jones, Marcin Czubala, Ben Watt, Colin Dale, Alex Flatner, John Acquaviva, Tyler Stadius, Laurent Garnier, Rob Pearson, Nic Fancuilli & John Digweed.
